problems connecting with bt

Hi guys
Am trying to use newsbin at a friends but am unable to get any downloads to start
He has BT as his isp and was wondering if they blocked progs like newsbin any ideas would welcome

What are the messages you are getting in the Logging tab? What news server are you using? If you left Newsbin running at your house and tried the same server from your friend's house, the news server may have rejected you due to access from multiple IP's simultaneously.
