so figured I would throw a little info as to what I am seeing on my end here....

1 connection - 2.3-2.8 Mbps
2 connection - 4-4.8 Mbps
3 connection - 4.6-5.2 Mbps
4 connection - 4.9-5.7 Mbps

ISP Shaw

account rated for DL speeds up to 7Mbps (very seldom see more than 6 Mbps though.)

so far seems alright to me.....

That sounds good. I only get 3 tops spread over 2 DSL connections.

I just signed up as well. I had newshosting but would frequently come back and see 200kb/s downloads (typically I get 770)

I tried the giganews trial however customer support was terrible so I cancelled after 1 day. I can't stress enough how horrible giganews is...

I'm currently using powerusenet and the speed seems stable but never fully saturated (650kb/s to 700 kb/s) and I don't like the fact that I can't post to servers... that actually came in handy for me several times in the past. I'm not sure if I will keep them...

Right now I'm pulling 5.33Mbps with 2 connections on a 6Mbps cable line. Usually it's around 3Mbps-4Mbps with 2 connections, for some reason it's faster today.
