How to filter files with the certain numbers in range only, say from part027 to part109

I was trying this:

part[(027)-(109)]

but it didn't work

Any suggestions?

Hmm, you can't specify a range like that. Best you can do is filter all the partxxx files then sort on subject to select the ones you want.

part[0-9][0-9][0-9]
