Unable to CTRL select while dragging the mouse

I can no longer use the CTRL button to select single headers and also to drag and select multiple headers as I could in Version 6.0 and earlier. It just loses the previously selected headers and acts like I don't have the CTRL button pushed.

Looking at that's on my todo list. The issue is that drag select always enforces a contiguous range. For example you can drag select, hold down Ctrl and then click individual items but, when you drag select again without letting go of Ctrl, you end up with a contiguous block of selected items.

that's one issue I still struggle with, using the new NB. but it's good to see that's on your list, since it's quite annoying when selecting multiple posts - but that could be me only

This drives me bonkers too. After painstakingly selecting a few dozen posts from search results using Ctrl-click, I inadvertently Ctrl-click-drag on one and now I've got a big block selection full of junk. Sigh and start over. If this can't be easily fixed, I'd vote for disabling it.
