This was done sequentially on same pc, nothing else changed. Are there some settings I need to adjust?

Hmmm all I can think of is are you unpacking to the same drive in newsbin as sab?
I use a SSD and I know many use NVMe SSD, so you should get pretty good speeds unpacking in both I would think.

Although I do know sab can start unpacking as it downloads, I don't think newsbin does. But would that cause such a big difference in how long it would take, but maybe it could with the bigger the file.
Quade would know more and answer this better.

Both sab and newsbin unpack to the same spinning drive. Boot drive is ssd
