Hi,
sometimes a "bad" NZB causes Newsbin to stop downloading.
These are NZBs with "strange" characters in the subject like a German Umlaut ΓΌ which in the NZB is written as ü
It looks like Newsbin tries to write the par2 index file to the download folder but the filename stops before the strange character.
I have to delete the NZB from the download list and (important!) the download folder otherwise Newsbin doesn't continue downloading other NZBs in the queue.
I could send you an example which I've created using the Newsbin Internet Search.
- add the NZB to your download list (only the index par2 gets downloaded but written with a shortened filename to disk, download stops completely even if other NZBs are in the queue)
- delete NZB from Downloading Files
- add another "good" NZB (download doesn't start)
- delete the download folder for the first nzb
- download of the 2nd NZB starts
I can get these bad NZBs to work if I manually edit them in an editor and remove all occurances of e.g. ü etc.
Best regards
billy
P.S.: I'm using Newsbin Pro 6.91RC3 - Build: 5855
