Why not just not copy zips to the watch folder?
Quade wrote:As long as the NZB is inside the ZIP, Newsbin should be picking it up, It looks inside RARS too.
Quade wrote:It's not really broken. It's written to process and move RAR/GZ and ZIP files. You're doing something that's not really recommended which is making the NZB load folder a general use folder instead of a dedicated NZB folder. How about making the NZB load folder a dedicated folder then using something to sweep the NZB's out of the download folder into the NZB folder?
Quade wrote:How about setting it to a dedicated folder and see if it still does it? I'm wondering if it's spending a bunch of time looking at other files in this folder.
I tested NZB watch folders before the last beta and it just picked up the NZB's without having to mess with the options.
Since that point NB has been erratic loading nzbs in zips.
I've written a script that automatically removes my loaded NZB's. Am I missing something by not keeping them? What is the reason they are kept?
Quade wrote:The "loaded" folder was supposed to have gone away but apparently I missed something. Instead all the loaded NZB's will end up in the NZB folder in Newsbin. They'll get purged automatically from that folder. There's no reason to keep them unless you really want to keep them.
Quade wrote:As long as you fish them out of the NZB Folder, before 2 days pass, you can still share them. You can also tweak how long Newsbin will keep files in the data folder.
The only difference is that all NZB's end up in a common folder now.
