Newsbin not renaming files after downloading...now

I've been using Newsbin for awhile now, but recently bought a new computer and installed Newsbin on it. I still have the old machine running, though. The old machine runs Windows 10 and Newsbin 6.82.5142; the new one is Windows 11 and Newsbin 6.90.5524.

The thing I'm running into is that on the new machine, NZB files are generally NOT renaming after they are un-RARed, but when I process the same NZB on the Windows 10 machine, they DO rename. On the Win11 machine, I activated "Subject Filename More: Prepend subject to filename" which, I was guessing, would put the name of the NZB in front of the gibberish name...but it doesn't.

If I can find a setting that would at least put the name on the NZB on the resulting filename on the new machine, I'd be happy, though, of course, I would be happiest if I could get it to just rename the files the way it used to/still does on the Windows 10 machine.

Some recent examples of this were NZBs for the March 3 episodes of Seth Meyers & Daily Show, and the recent episodes of White Lotus and Last Week Tonight.

Thanks for any help someone can provide!

If you primarily download using NZB's, I'd use the latest release candidate which is listed here in the forum. In the beta section. It works best with modern NZB's.

If you want the NZB Filename in the path, you add $(NZBFILE) to the path.

X:\Decode\$(NZBFILE)\

For example.

6.91 seems to work the best renaming the random filenames to with a name from the subject of the NZB Filename.

NZB's that contain a raw file like an MKV without PARS will only download to the download folder. It won't get moved to the decode folder because there's no "Decode" step.

Thank you...I am trying the 6.91 Beta now.
