Downloaded posts disappearing

Starting today i have noticed strange behaviour from the program.

I have selected a file and it appears to be downloading.

I can see this in my download folder and can see the rar files as they appear.

When the file-set has downloaded and the file is un-rared the rars are deleted as requested, but then the download folder itself is also deleted.

All the rars, the un-rared file and also my newsbin.nbi.old files then appear in my recycle bin.

I then have to "recover deleted items" in order to re-create the download folder and add in the files that have been un-rared.

Running version 6.72 build 4776 in window XP SP3

Is it just some files or all of them?
Are you downloading and unraring to the same path?

I'd try it with the latest beta too.

I have just selected 4 files-sets for download but during download changed the unrar path to a different folder (URF) from my download folder (DLF)

The rars built up in the DLF as expected and unrared into the URF as requested.

However, when all 4 file-sets had been both d/l and unrared........the DLF was deleted as previously discussed and appeared in my recycle bin.

The unrared video files were fine in the URF

Also, in the recycle bin there are now 6 copies of my NewsBin.nbi.old .This is the same number as d/l errors so far encountered. 2 yesterday and another 4 today

So what happens if you don't do this? Do they delete if you just let them download normally?

This was an attempt to stop the deletion.

When i select a fileset and allow it to d/l and extract to the same folder, then it is all deleted.

When i allow it to d/l but change the unrar folder, then the d/l folder is deleted but the files remain in the unrar folder

However, i disabled autopar (and auto unrar) in the options menu and the problem stopped.

I was able to then d/l and extract to the same folder without ANY deletion.

Obviously i can then manually extract the files, but it is a bit of a pain when it was previously fine.

Any ideas ?
