Download fails with "Insufficient Disk Space"

Postby hermann_2019 » Sun Jan 13, 2019 5:04 am

I am using 6.81B2 with a download folder configured as
i:\Downloads\$(GROUP)\$(SUBJECT)

This mostly works but somtimes downloads stop with "ERROR Insufficient Disk space to continue" and path where the last directory name consists
strange characters, eg

1 pbW_J}ÛXW_¹dBêîTq7—T2«\

This blocks all all the following queued downloads.
Also there are several gb of free disk space available on this drive.

32 bits or 64? It seems like some sort of corruption. Does is go away if you restart Newsbin?

win10 pro 64bit.
It seems to be tied to specific posts, nb stays locked as long as such a post is in my download list, even after i restart.
I can delete the posts from the download list any download another post without any problems and when i retry to download one of the problematic ones nb blocks asgain with "insufficient disk space"

An example:

Code: Links not allowed for unregistered users

Removed and saved.
