Is there a way to get it to handle passwords automatically if you load an NZB manually?

One of my indexers has recently started using passwords for nearly all NZB's You never have to put in a password when it downloads through Sonarr. After every NZB that requires a password it says "password is automatically handled by SABnzbd, NZBget or alt.binz"

However if I manually load an NZB then Newsbin fails to unrar it and puts it in the failed files list.

If you feed the NZB directly to the download list, it should handle the password automatically. Feed it with NZB Autoload, drag and drop, double-click or "open". It should work with Sonarr too.

You can email me NZBs to [email protected] that you feed to the download list, that don't get unrared automatically. I'll check them out.

I did find a password problem with 7zip which will be fixed in RC5.

I will try that next time. I used the load nzb option yesterday. Ended up using winrar and putting in the password manually.

I edited my posts. Sonarr should work too. As long as the password is either in the filename or inside the NZB, Newsbin should pick it up and use it. It won't show in the password list but you can see it if you check the download properties.

Hi Quade,

in RC3, I've noticed that the current progress of downloads in the 'Downloading Files' tab does not always match the files that have actually been downloaded so far.
This is during the d/l of an NZB, that appears in the 'Downloading Files' tab as a compacted entry, which is then expanded to show the detailed content as it is being downloaded.

Some files are shown as downloaded in the current progress column, but the files are shown as paused and are not in the d/l folder.
Some are shown as not downloaded in the current progress column, but the files are shown as d/l (green icon) and they exist in the d/l folder.
It looks like things are out of step during the display of the download process.

I can send you an example NZB and a png of the download queue showing the mismatch, if you'd like.

regards
Stavros.

RC3 has been superseded. I'd suggest installing RC5 at this point and trying again.

OK, but it'll be a while before I can do that.

This is still happening in 6.90 build 5524.

Perhaps something that can be looked into for the next beta cycle.
