Remember Window Size and Location

Postby KCCraash » Fri Jul 12, 2024 8:21 pm

Is it possible to have Newsbin window remember it's last size and location? I autostart it on bootup and it reverts to full screen, even though I adjust it to a small window. This seems to be abnormal in today's world. Is this a feature that can be added?

What version are you using?

If you start it normally does it remember? It sets the current position and size on exit but I wonder if your shortcut is starting it full screen?

I am running 6.91RC1 Build 5790.

Once running, if I close Newbin and then reopen it, it does indeed remember the last window size and location.

So, it's just if I start it on boot automatically (via a reg entry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run) that it goes fullscreen.

I think they're suggesting you point the "Run" at a shortcut that points to Newsbin. Then set the shortcut to start minimized. I didn't read the whole thing.
